Domain Status

In Z.com's Domain Services, there are 6 types of Domain Status in MyZ.com Panel.

• Waiting For Payment
• Active
• Waiting Authentication
• Expired
• Lock
• Cancel (or) Cancellation

Waiting For Payment

• This status means you’ve placed an order for a domain, but the payment hasn’t been completed or confirmed yet.

Actions needed:
1. Complete the payment to proceed with the registration.
2. If the payment isn’t made within the allowed time, the order might be canceled automatically.

Active

• The domain is successfully registered and is currently active.

• You can:

  • Manage DNS settings.

  • Set up hosting or email services.

  • Transfer the domain if needed.

• Renewal reminders will be sent before the expiration date.

Waiting Authentication

• The domain has been registered, but email or identity verification is pending.

• This typically happens when:

  • You need to verify your email address as per ICANN regulations.

  • Additional documents or proof are required for specific domain extensions (.jp, .sg, etc.).

• Failure to complete authentication may lead to suspension until verification is done.

Expired

• The domain has passed its renewal date and is no longer active.

• Effects:

  • The website and email linked to the domain may stop functioning.

  • You may still have a grace period to renew the domain (duration depends on the domain extension).

• If you don’t renew within the grace period, the domain could enter redemption status or be released for public registration.

Lock

• The domain has been registered, but it is currently locked to prevent unauthorized changes . 

• This typically happens when:

  • Whois contact information is incomplete, incorrect, or not verified.

  • Email verification required by ICANN has not been completed.

  • The domain owner or registrar has enabled a security lock for protection.

  • There are pending payment, renewal, or policy-related issues.

• While the domain is locked:

  • DNS or ownership changes may be restricted (depending on lock type).

• Failure to resolve the lock reason may lead to temporary suspension or service interruption until the issue is resolved.

Cancel (or) Cancellation

• If you don’t renew within the renewal grace period, the domain has been removed from MyZ.com Panel by system.
• Effects:
  • You cannot renew the domain in this status.
